I am hanging out with my friend Nicki (from Long Beach) at her house. I say, “Dude, I’m so stoked that you have cable! I am at a Florida beach with my mom; she has come to visit. This looks a lot like Fort DeSoto (a local beach that’s consistently voted “best beach in America”). The water is way more tropical than it ever gets—clear and turquoise.
